In June 2009, the PROCOMER (Promotora Del Comercio Exterior de Costa Rica) invited Location Scouts from Los Angeles and New York City (and a medical tourism lawyer from Tulsa) to the Costa Rica Services Summit to meet local production service companies and equipment vendors. Afterwards, they visited various cinematic sites so as to see what Costa Rica has to offer for future opportunities.
